An impending unemployed graffiti craftsman actually paints the town red in the opening scene of Los hongos, the offbeat if slight directorial presentation of Colombian author chief Oscar Ruiz Navia. This wandering story of two adolescents in Cali who hang out, label and paint the dividers and afterward hang out some more is high on air, makes them intrigue if not generally very much incorporated anthropological points of interest and components two completely naturalistic exhibitions, however it at long last feels excessively irrelevant and purposeless, making it impossible to leave a lot of an imprint. After its Locarno world debut, a sprinkling of celebration welcomes ought to take after.

Los hongos (which truly signifies "The Mushrooms") opens on Jovan Alexis (Jovan Alexis Marquinez Angulo), who has moved to the huge city with his religious and strict however unmistakably cherishing mother (Angela Garcia) from a little dark group on the Pacific coast, (for example, the ones found in Navia's first component, Crab Trap, and Jhonny Hendrix Hinestroza's Choco). By day Jovan meets expectations at a development site, however he's terminated when his bosses figure out he takes home paint from the site for his genuine energy, graffiti and divider artistic creations.

Tellingly, however his mom demands the significance of an occupation, the marvelous and reflective adolescent doesn't appear to be all that worried about having lost his vocation.

Jovan Alexis, who passes by the epithet Ras (likewise his tag), is best buds with (Calvin Buenaventura), who originates from a working class white family and who ostensibly learns at the city's School of Expressive arts, however basically, when he's not out on the town with Ras, he hangs out at the home of his weak grandma (Atala Estrada). Calvin's guardians are separated; he converses with his Mother on Skype and sometimes drops in on his earlier celebrated singing father (Gustavo Ruiz Montoya). Neither appears to be especially keen on what their child is doing, however its unmistakable from his affinity with granny that he wants adoration and fondness.

Interestingly, while Ras and Calvin originate from inverse foundations, Navia doesn't underline their disparities or their similitudes and its not by any means clear how the two, who live in distinctive neighborhoods, got to be companions. Rather, Sofia Oggioni Hatty's free camera just chases after the heroes, which brings about a progression of semi-associated scenes with no genuine story stream, as Ras and Calvin float starting with one spot and occasion then onto the next. This gives the film a loose, semi-ad libbed and sometimes verging on narrative like feel.

Jovan likewise hangs out at Calvin's grandma's, sporadically notwithstanding resting over, and there's a minute in the film where one practically expects they'll rest together for need or something to that affect of activity. Rather, the couple gaze upward online features of the late uprising in Egypt for motivation for an ambiguously characterized wall painting task. Since decision promoting has likewise prominently overflowed the city dividers where Ras makes the legislators countenances vanish under red paint and television screens, there's a sense there's a more extensive political connection out there, however in genuine bum manner, Ras and Calvin are rocker activists, best case scenario, searching for something they can fitting to keep their work from being totally without importance.

Thus, the diverse team of taggers and craftsmen they at long last fall in with indicated in a long and amazing following shot discuss being "against Babylon" without generally constantly appearing to do anything unmistakably political; their most direct activity is to fill dividers they don't claim with sprinkles of shading. Strangely, when, inexorably, the police show up, Navia, who co-composed the film with Cesar Augusto Acevedo, concentrates not on the young men but rather on fringe figures likewise display at the scene.

There's consequently no genuine paste that holds the whole film together. A superbly watched scene, for example, an a-cappella tune sung by Ras' mom with some of her lady friends, or an expanded arrangement at Sunday Church where a political hopeful makes a stop, convey fascinating if minor bits of understanding into life in Colombia (or Cali specifically), yet don't serve any bigger story needs. Navia is doubtlessly making a point about how capricious these youths appear to be floating through life, yet with a film so downplayed and directionless itself, it turns out to be difficult to truly think about what does or, as the case may b

This is the story of two 20 something young men in Cali Columbia today. They are aspiring graffiti artists. I'd already watched a documentary about graffiti artists around the world including Latin America at a film festival a couple years ago. This movie is as real as a documentary but it is a drama. Days in the life of a couple of nice guys in sometimes friendly and sometimes dangerous world. I saw this at a university film series and there was a Columbian professor there giving an introduction and Q&A about this film. He was very excited about this film. And he also pointed out it's allusions to Columbian film history which I know nothing about but found very interesting. Guess I can't come up with the right words to tell you what a great and fun and natural and affirming movie this is. It's about youth culture, but with characters who care deeply about their mothers and grandmothers. It's about street culture but not about drug dealers or gun battles. It even has a couple sex scenes it it, but these are more true to being young than to being hyped up wish fulfillment. And it is not a nostalgic or idealistic or condescending movie. It ends on a note of hope, humor and affirmation. I saw it with subtitles translating the Spanish dialog.

Name : Angelica Kipas / Alias : Columbian Teacher
They are yearning graffiti craftsmen. I'd effectively watched a narrative about graffiti specialists around the globe including Latin America at a film celebration two or three years back. This motion picture is as genuine as a narrative however it is a show. Days in the life of a few decent gentlemen in some of the time agreeable and once in a while perilous world. I saw this at a college film arrangement and there was a Columbian teacher there giving a presentation and Q&A about this film. He was extremely amped up for this film.

Name : Christian Holub / Alias : Entertainment Weekly
Risen is more entertaining than Bible-adjacent stories are usually allowed to be.

Name : Ignatiy Vishnevetsky / Alias : AV Club
The film ends up falling into a loop of abortive climaxes, set against an indistinguishable beige-gray backdrop of limestone, before the inevitable cheap-looking flash of CGI light in a scraggly field.

Name : Joshua Rothkopf / Alias : Time Out
It's not often that faith-based films, competing in the same marketplace that rewards action, embrace the deeper, more difficult idea of meeting hate with love, but Risen tries.

Name : Michael Nordine / Alias : Village Voice
Despite not doing much more than preach to the choir, Risen is still more nuanced than the lion's share of recent faith-based dramas.

Name : Kate Taylor / Alias : Globe and Mail
The film features a lush historical setting and some satisfying action scenes, but the dialogue is often laughable, a mix of the pseudo-archaic with oddly contemporary lingo.

Name : Jim Slotek / Alias : Toronto Sun
It's nice to finally see the Messiah portrayed by somebody who'd probably get extra attention at a U.S. airport by Homeland Security.

Name : Justin Chang / Alias : Variety
Whether or not it triggers a craze for divinely inspired detective stories, "Risen" makes a decent case for itself as the "Columbo" of the genre: It's amiable, creaky and not remotely predicated on the element of surprise.

Name : Katie Walsh / Alias : Los Angeles Times
"Risen" is a fascinating cultural artifact, but as a film, it's destined for no glory greater than as an appropriate cable rerun on Easter.

Name : Kyle Smith / Alias : New York Post
A low-IQ affair that supposes that the Gospels will sound more convincing if seen through the eyes of a skeptic. Instead, it seeks to improve the New Testament by putting a layer of Naugahyde upholstery on it.

Name : Tirdad Derakhshani / Alias : Philadelphia Inquirer
While it descends too often into the melodramatic, it's a solid, smart picture and a welcome addition to the genre.

Name : Adam Graham / Alias : Detroit News
"Risen" was never meant as anything but a tool for the converted. Talk about preaching to the choir.

Name : Peter Howell / Alias : Toronto Star
It's intended primarily for an audience of Christian believers, but genuine drama precedes the preaching.

Name : Soren Anderson / Alias : Seattle Times
Fiennes is superb, portraying a man slowly transformed by events that shake his beliefs about the world and his place in it to their core.

Name : Richard Roeper / Alias : Chicago Sun-Times
Fiennes sticks with the brooding, stoic performance, even when Clavius is undergoing some major changes. It's not his best work.

Name : Ann Hornaday / Alias : Washington Post
Viewers already well-versed in the greatest story ever told might find their interest piqued by the filmmakers' unconventional take. It's unlikely, however, that "Risen" will preach to anyone outside the choir.

Name : Jeannette Catsoulis / Alias : New York Times
If you drink every time you're reminded of Monty Python's 1979 Judean jaunt, "Life of Brian," you might just make it through to the end.

Name : Stephen Whitty / Alias : New York Daily News
Reynolds' gets many things right: the blasted look of the desert, the dusty provincial look of a far-flung Roman outpost. And the story he tells is both serious and modest.

Name : Inkoo Kang / Alias : TheWrap
A fairly ambitious picture tailor-made for that slice of the Christian audience accustomed to the tropes and beats of prestige cable dramas.

Name : Peter Keough / Alias : Boston Globe
We know how it turns out, but seeing from the point of view of someone who doesn't know and doesn't believe adds more cogency.

Name : Bilge Ebiri / Alias : New York Magazine/Vulture
For a film that could have easily become bogged down in Sunday School reverence, or culture-war opportunism, Risen presents an intriguing, oblique approach to a Bible movie.

Name : Bill Goodykoontz / Alias : Arizona Republic
It's not especially challenging. But it is several steps up from some faith-based fare, and it will doubtless appeal to its target audience.

Name : Amy Nicholson / Alias : MTV
It's pointed about how we treat today's zealots, as when Clavius likens the pain of crucification to "sucking air through a wet cloth" - a description of waterboarding.

Name : Mick LaSalle / Alias : San Francisco Chronicle
Whatever your religious affiliation, you will come away thinking that if all this did actually happen, it probably happened something like this.

Name : Colin Covert / Alias : Minneapolis Star Tribune
What a good surprise it was to watch a biblical feature less preachy, less stuffy and more entertaining than most. "Risen" is an original crime-fiction take on a story as old as stories get.

A reimagining of Disney's cherished family film, "Pete's Dragon" is the adventure of an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliott, who just so happens to be a dragon. "Pete's Dragon" stars Bryce Dallas Howard ("Jurassic World"), Oakes Fegley ("This is Where I Leave You"), Wes Bentley ("The Hunger Games"), Karl Urban ("Star Trek"), Oona Laurence ("Southpaw") and Oscar (R) winner Robert Redford ("Captain America: The Winter Soldier"). The film, which is directed by David Lowery ("Ain't Them Bodies Saints"), is written by Lowery & Toby Halbrooks based on a story by Seton I. Miller and S.S. Field and produced by Jim Whitaker, p.g.a. ("The Finest Hours," "Friday Night Lights"), with Barrie M. Osborne ("The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring," "The Great Gatsby") serving as executive producer. For years, old wood carver Mr. Meacham (Robert Redford) has delighted local children with his tales of the fierce dragon that resides deep in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. To his daughter, Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard), who works as a forest ranger, these stories are little more than tall tales.until she meets Pete (Oakes Fegley). Pete is a mysterious 10-year-old with no family and no home who claims to live in the woods with a giant, green dragon named Elliott. And from Pete's descriptions, Elliott seems remarkably similar to the dragon from Mr. Meacham's stories. With the help of Natalie (Oona Laurence), an 11-year-old girl whose father Jack (Wes Bentley) owns the local lumber mill, Grace sets out to determine where Pete came from, where he belongs, and the truth about this dragon. Disney's "Pete's Dragon" opens in U.S. theaters on August 12, 2016.

Name : Mick LaSalle / Alias : San Francisco Chronicle
The movie is one long snooze, until the finish leaves half the audience glowing and in tears.

Name : Ann Hornaday / Alias : Washington Post
In deciding not to stray far from the first film in plot or tone, it makes for a pleasant, familiar, cheerfully unassuming fish-in-her-water tale.

Name : Ella Taylor / Alias : L.A. Weekly
As Peter Pan might have put it, an awfully small adventure.

Name : Stephen Whitty / Alias : Newark Star-Ledger
A genuinely funny and touching film that, in less than a decade, has established itself as a timeless classic.

Name : Elizabeth Weitzman / Alias : New York Daily News
A timeless delight.

Name : Alison Willmore / Alias : BuzzFeed News
Dory is still irrepressible in Finding Dory, still making her way brightly and cluelessly through life in a state of perpetual now, but her backstory adds a steady element of pathos to a movie that otherwise follows in the same beats as the original.

Name : Peter Howell / Alias : Toronto Star
Finding Dory may be more of a minnow than a whale of a tale for Pixar, but it's still a good catch.

Name : Steven Rea / Alias : Philadelphia Inquirer
Twee is one of those distinctly English words. It's used to describe something flowery, fey, hopelessly lightweight. It can also be applied - quite nicely, thank you - to Finding Neverland.

Name : Amy Nicholson / Alias : MTV
Morbidity covers every scale of Finding Dory like fin rot.

Name : Jami Bernard / Alias : New York Daily News
As a study of the creative process, Finding Neverland is too literal, yet gives a healthy idea of the richness and ingenuity of Barrie's work.

Name : Tony Hicks / Alias : San Jose Mercury News
Of course, "Dory" has plot similarities to "Nemo," but there is enough love and care devoted to everything from the characters on down that it works beautifully, even without element of surprise.

Name : Amy Nicholson / Alias : Boxoffice Magazine
When the blunt head of Bruce the shark slams into the screen like a hammer, everyone - adults included - gasps

Name : Colin Covert / Alias : Minneapolis Star Tribune
There's a big undersea world out there in Finding Dory, one that's endlessly diverse and consistently beautiful. Not only in its dazzling photorealist images, but in the story's creative depth.

Name : Stephanie Zacharek / Alias : TIME Magazine
Although DeGeneres' Dory, with her breathless stream-of-consciousness patter, is unavoidably likable, the cast of supporting characters here may be even better.

Name : Claudia Puig / Alias : USA Today
The story is told gently and simply without excess sentimentality. It is a welcome departure from more contrived holiday fare.

Name : Zach Schonfeld / Alias : Newsweek
Dory's visual palette is such a joy to look at, drawing on the deep blues and greens of the underwater expanse and ocean-dwelling algae.

Name : Bruce Newman / Alias : San Jose Mercury News
It is Depp who makes the magic real enough to believe.

Name : Will Leitch / Alias : The New Republic
It's a sequel that's a continuation of the original film rather than an expansion of it, and it is still a success, though not a triumph.

The verities are about the ways imagination is craved and curtailed by loved ones and by society.

Name : Chris Nashawaty / Alias : Entertainment Weekly
One of the biggest and most pleasant surprises in a film with too few of them is just how resonant Dory will be for parents of kids with learning disabilities.

Name : Peter Rainer / Alias : New York Magazine/Vulture
Finding Nemo is distributed by Disney, and it has what the most heartfelt Disney animated features used to have: rapturous imagery matched with real wit.

Name : Mara Reinstein / Alias : Us Weekly
Sometimes it takes a plucky animated fish to illustrate the benefits of thinking on your fins (er, feet). Now that's a lesson worth retaining.

Name : Alonso Duralde / Alias : TheWrap
Stanton and co-director Angus MacLane augment the hilarious characters with visual grandeur (who knew there were this many shades of blue?) and comedy, particularly from Hank the octopus' chameleonic and contortionist skills.

Name : Peter Travers / Alias : Rolling Stone
Glorious entertainment.

Name : Brian Truitt / Alias : USA Today
While the animation is still top-notch and a slew of new waterlogged personalities buoy the story, it doesn't have nearly the same sense of heart, wonder and awe as Nemo.

Name : Roger Moore / Alias : Orlando Sentinel
Finding Neverland is not exactly the way it happened, but this is a movie with a higher truth, one we need to believe in. And you will believe. You will.

Finding Nemo is laced with smart humor and clever gags, and buoyed by another cheery story of mismatched buddies: a pair of fish voiced by Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres.

Name : Nancy Churnin / Alias : Dallas Morning News
Resisting the temptation to rehash Finding Nemo with new characters as too many sequels do, this fine-finned tale tells a complementary story from the opposite direction.

Name : Calvin Wilson / Alias : St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Audiences should find "Dory" one of Pixar's most charming achievements.

Name : Joe Morgenstern / Alias : Wall Street Journal
"Finding Dory" can be touching, sweet and tender, but it's compulsively, preposterously and steadfastly funny.

Depp is a charm. He becomes his own, subtly compelling Barrie.

Name : Maricar Estrella / Alias : Fort Worth Star-Telegram/DFW.com
Another huge improvement from its predecessor is the animation, from the way the kelp sways in the ocean to Hank's camouflaging metamorphosis. The filmmakers provide a dynamic, colorful backdrop worthy of 3-D viewing.

Name : Brian Lowry / Alias : CNN.com
Pixar films are invariably clever and play on multiple levels, and this one is no exception. There's something deeply moving about Dory's plight.

Name : Patrick Dunn / Alias : Detroit News
The film is often visually striking and charming enough, but it's low on two things we've come to expect from Pixar: comedy and moving emotional moments.

Name : Peter Travers / Alias : Rolling Stone
If Finding Dory lacks the fresh surprise of its predecessor, it still brims with humor, heart and animation miracles.

Name : Rafer Guzman / Alias : Newsday
"Finding Dory" upholds the Pixar tradition with plenty of inventive humor, cleverly drawn characters and emotionally resonant moments.

Name : Carina Chocano / Alias : Los Angeles Times
Finding Neverland is gently seductive, genuinely tender and often moving without being maudlin.

Finding Dory is enjoyable in its own right, even if its powerful sense of deja vu keeps it from approaching the pinnacle of the Disney/Pixar collaborations.

Name : Michael Phillips / Alias : Chicago Tribune
The visual personality of the movie is fantastically vivid and bright, the story itself, less so.

Name : Jake Coyle / Alias : Associated Press
Finding Dory, bright and clever like most all Pixar releases, has the animation studio's familiar blend of wit, heart and visual detail. But it's missing its own magic.

Name : Eleanor Ringel Gillespie / Alias : Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The film reminds us not only of the many uses of enchantment, but of the exhilarating magic of the words, 'Let's pretend.'

Name : Bill Muller / Alias : Arizona Republic
Forster builds on each scene, and the finale . is quite moving.

Name : Bilge Ebiri / Alias : Village Voice
Finding Dory is one of the most devastating things Pixar has made - all while often being even bouncier than Finding Nemo.

Name : Jeff Strickler / Alias : Minneapolis Star Tribune
Intelligent and inspiring.

Name : Stephen Whitty / Alias : Newark Star-Ledger
There's a new Pixar film in theaters, and it's a catch.

Name : Keith Phipps / Alias : AV Club
Like Pixar's previous films, Finding Nemo mines humor from the oddities of an unknown world but stays grounded in a familiar one, finding recognizable elements of heartbreak and happiness amid the ink-jetting octopi and irritable flounders.

Name : Wesley Morris / Alias : Boston Globe
Good taste runs amok. The movie is careful to offend no one, which, in a more dramatically told film might not be as irritating.

Name : Tom Long / Alias : Detroit News
It's a reminder that a sense of play is at the heart of every play - at the heart of every artistic endeavor, for that matter - and yet life is more than just a playground.

Name : Steven Rea / Alias : Philadelphia Inquirer
Much of Finding Dory is funny, and fun. But there's something kind of haunting about our heroine's memory thing.

Name : A.O. Scott / Alias : New York Times
The inclusiveness of the film's vision is remarkable partly because it feels so natural, something that no adult will really need to explain. Children will get it, perhaps more intuitively and easily than the rest of us.

Name : A.A. Dowd / Alias : AV Club
Finding Dory, like most "lesser Pixar," is more fun around the edges than the competition tends to be at center.

Name : Richard Corliss / Alias : TIME Magazine
Nemo, with its ravishing underwater fantasia, manages to trump the design glamour of earlier Pixar films.

Name : Michael Wilmington / Alias : Chicago Tribune
Finding Neverland has a radiance that comes primarily from Depp's performance but finally suffuses the whole movie - with its marvelous cast and lovingly created images of a British Edwardian past.

Name : Philip Wuntch / Alias : Dallas Morning News
Despite opportunities to turn soft and clammy, the film is moving but not maudlin, whimsical but not cloying.

Name : Bruce Diones / Alias : New Yorker
While not as visually dazzling as its predecessor, the film is still colorful and immersive; the script, while predictable, puts an engaging spin on the issues of home and identity.

Name : Moira MacDonald / Alias : Seattle Times
Pretty as a Victorian candy box and gentle as a sleeping child's breath, Finding Neverland is a small treasure of a film.

Name : Stephanie Zacharek / Alias : Salon.com
Forster doesn't know how to make his story flow - the picture moves from scene to scene with an almost painfully mechanical precision.

Name : Owen Gleiberman / Alias : Variety
Andrew Stanton and Angus MacLane, the co-directors of "Finding Dory," have made a beautiful, rambunctious, and fully felt sequel - a movie totally worth its salt water.

Name : Mark Feeney / Alias : Boston Globe
There are terrific Pixar sequels ("Toy Story 2" and "3") and OK Pixar sequels ("Cars 2," "Monsters University"). "Finding Dory" is one of the terrific ones, if not quite up to the "Toy Story" standard.

Name : John Anderson / Alias : Newsday
In its understated way, it is based on a sense of what separates children from adults and how someone like Barrie might have bridged that gap.

Name : Richard Roeper / Alias : Ebert & Roeper
I like the way this film kind of mirrors Peter Pan. That we have these magical elements, little things that of course are now keystones and touch notes in the Peter Pan story we see how the idea first came to him.

Name : Ken Tucker / Alias : New York Magazine/Vulture
If it didn't have Johnny Depp as its star, Finding Neverland would barely pass muster as an average PBS Masterpiece Theatre entry.

Name : Moira MacDonald / Alias : Seattle Times
For all the witty voices and great escapes (maybe one too many of the latter), "Finding Dory" is ultimately a character story, and DeGeneres' lovable, brave Dory swims right into our hearts.

Name : Rene Rodriguez / Alias : Miami Herald
Finding Dory isn't so much a sequel to Finding Nemo as it is a Looney Tunes spin-off: Wilder, sillier, broader and instantly disposable.

Name : Todd McCarthy / Alias : Variety
Very clever and imaginative indeed.

Name : Joe Morgenstern / Alias : Wall Street Journal
While Mr. Brooks is very funny, Ms. DeGeneres gives a bravura comic performance, as well as a touching one.

Name : David Ansen / Alias : Newsweek
A visual marvel, every frame packed to the gills with clever details, Finding Nemo is the best big-studio release so far this year.

Name : Ted Shen / Alias : Chicago Reader
[An] aquatic joyride.

Name : Peter Hartlaub / Alias : San Francisco Chronicle
It rises above its crowded narrative with an intense emotional core, taking a protagonist whose affliction had been played mostly for comedy, and exploring the emptiness and loneliness of her plight.

Name : Roger Ebert / Alias : Chicago Sun-Times
For Depp, Finding Neverland is the latest in an extraordinary series of performances.

Name : Richard Roeper / Alias : Chicago Sun-Times
It's a solid, entertaining, well-paced sequel featuring terrific voice work, a clever script and some ingenious action sequences.

Name : Geoff Pevere / Alias : Toronto Star
There isn't much that's less interesting to watch Johnny Depp do than bring a quiet and steady decency to anything.

Name : Ethan Sacks / Alias : New York Daily News
There will be enough tears to fill a small inflatable pool, if not an ocean.

Name : Kenneth Turan / Alias : Los Angeles Times
As the 13-year gap between "Nemo" and "Dory" indicates, this was not a concept that cried out to be made.

Name : Paul Clinton (CNN.com) / Alias : CNN.com
I'd rank it as one of the best films of the year.

Name : Ray Bennett / Alias : Hollywood Reporter
A rewarding piece of filmmaking that has all the makings of a classic weepie.

Name : Bill Goodykoontz / Alias : Arizona Republic
Like the original, "Finding Dory" makes us understand the fears, joys, struggles and triumphs of family. See it with yours.

Name : Terry Lawson / Alias : Detroit Free Press
We can always see the frightened little boy in the man, and the importance of the role that make-believe plays in a world often too eager to tell us to accept things as they are instead of urging us to remake them by dreaming of how they could be.

Name : Todd McCarthy / Alias : Variety
Impeccably made and genuinely moving.

Name : Peter Rainer / Alias : Christian Science Monitor
There are some rollicky moments in Finding Dory. [But] the inventiveness of the animation is not matched by the frayed workmanship of the story line.

Name : J. R. Jones / Alias : Chicago Reader
The elemental emotions at work and the childlike awe at the undersea world - rendered once again in colorful, carefully researched, lovingly precise animation - contribute to the sense of a story timeless and pure.

Name : Owen Gleiberman / Alias : Entertainment Weekly
Depp, as the Scottish-born turn-of-the-century playwright J.M. Barrie, portrays a fellow who is openly gentle to the core, and the actor just about wraps the movie around his lilting delivery and quiescent gaze.

Name : Bruce Kirkland / Alias : Toronto Sun
Finding Dory is delightful throughout, dazzling during its many highlight scenes and just a tad disorienting on rare occasions.

Name : Anna King / Alias : Time Out
Pixar's wizardry is baked into every detail, from the sun-dappled ocean surfaces to the underwater visuals that border on photorealism. It's unforgettable stuff.

Name : Andrew Sarris / Alias : New York Observer
Finding Neverland establishes its limits and then transcends them to provide a glorious entertainment for this holiday season.

Name : Robert Denerstein / Alias : Denver Rocky Mountain News
For the most part, Forster peeks inside the creative process, presenting us with scenes that are sweetly realized and often touching.

Name : Rick Groen / Alias : Globe and Mail
It's a mild pleasure to watch.

Name : Kate Taylor / Alias : Globe and Mail
A sequel that betters the boffo 2003 animated feature Finding Nemo and provides more evidence, after last year's highly original Inside Out, that Pixar has finally emerged from the uninspiring years of the Cars franchise.

Name : Bruce Westbrook / Alias : Houston Chronicle
Some things are worth causing a lump in your throat. Finding Neverland is one of them.

Name : Anthony Lane / Alias : New Yorker
The latest flood of wizardry from Pixar, whose productions, from Toy Story onward, have lent an indispensable vigor and wit to the sagging art of mainstream animation.

Name : Andrew Lapin / Alias : NPR
It is nice, especially at this precise moment, to believe that evil and cruelty don't necessarily have to exist in the world: that even in the great big ocean, a couple of small fish looking for help can always depend on the kindness of strangers.

Name : Dana Stevens / Alias : Slate
Finding Dory often goes, if you'll forgive the maritime metaphor, to a level a few fathoms below the cruising depth of its much-loved predecessor.
